| A hand made celtic cross was was presented to the president of Summerhill College - Fr Kevin Earley . It was caved by Peter Diamond,who was in the class of 1995. The inscription on the cross reads as following: "In remembrance of Edward J. Flanagan 1886-1948 Born Ballymoe, Co. Roscommon Summerhill College 1899-1903 Founder of Boystown,Nebraska Died Germany,May 1948 Rest in Peace" . | |
